Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training Crew to become future leaders.

You will ensure food quality and safety, keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and properly maintained, and serve as a role model promoting teamwork and a great customer experience. On the clock you’ll stay active, hit station goals, and pitch in to help teammates, while upholding Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Qualifications

• Understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Possess a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support teamwork between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and respond to repairs promptly.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO inventory tasks.
