Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure quality and safety, keep a clean and stocked kitchen, and uphold Chipotle’s standards and policies.

As a Kitchen Leader, you’ll promote teamwork, help Crew reach station goals, and serve as a role model for development and customer experience. This on-site role requires a high school diploma and restaurant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory and waste and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well-maintained; ensure equipment is in good repair.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries; assist with MSDS and FIFO tasks.
