Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader in the United States to train and guide Crew toward becoming Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure food is prepared to order, monitor inventory, and uphold food safety and cleanliness standards while fostering teamwork and delivering a great customer experience.

The role emphasizes hands-on cooking, leadership development, and collaboration with back-of-house and front-of-house teams to keep operations running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience is required or preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies and procedures; cook and prep food to order.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation; maintain equipment.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO inventory controls.
