Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train and guide a crew, cook to order, and ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will order supplies, mentor potential Kitchen Leaders, and maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked work area.

In this role you will foster teamwork, help Crew members meet station goals, and deliver excellent guest experiences. Chipotle offers tuition assistance, free food, health benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience is required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Cooking and prepping food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned, sanitized and equipment is maintained.
