Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train and guide Crew members, ensuring delicious, safe food and a smooth service flow. You will model teamwork, lead by example, and help develop future Kitchen Leaders while maintaining a clean, well-stocked kitchen and strong guest engagement.

You will be on your feet across a fast-paced kitchen, responsible for quality, safety, and efficiency, with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma and restaurant experience.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order; follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized; maintain equipment in good repair.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs for kitchen equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
