Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill seeks a Kitchen Leader to craft great food, train others, and maintain a clean, well-stocked kitchen. You’ll ensure quality, safety, and a positive customer experience while promoting teamwork across back- and front-of-house operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized and equipment is maintained.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO) as required.
