Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train teams, prepare high-quality food, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards. You will supervise cooks, mentor Crew members, and ensure a smooth operation that delivers a great guest experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, efficient service, and adherence to Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy while supporting ongoing training and development for future Kitchen Leaders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy and communicate in the work location language.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order; follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized and sanitized; maintain equipment.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO paperwork as required.
