Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train and supervise Crew, manage food quality and safety, and ensure smooth daily kitchen operations. You will lead by example, coordinate with back- and front-of-house, and uphold Chipotle’s standards for delicious, responsibly sourced food.

The role emphasizes teamwork, training future Kitchen Leaders, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked kitchen while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• Must have restaurant experience.
• High school diploma required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Lead and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Ensure kitchen is clean, organized, and stocked.
• Maintain equipment and repair quickly when needed.
• Promote teamwork between back- and front-of-house Crew.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Communicate with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Follow MSDS and FIFO inventory practices.
