Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to guide daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality, and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will oversee food preparation, inventory, and sanitation while promoting teamwork and delivering a top-notch guest experience.

You’ll mentor Crew, maintain kitchen standards, and support a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency, contributing to Chipotle’s mission of better food for everyone.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Restaurant experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Foster a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and properly sanitized.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and promptly repaired when needed.
• Adhere to safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation.
