Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to manage day-to-day kitchen operations and train Crew Members to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will prepare great food, oversee cooking, and ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen while promoting teamwork and outstanding customer service.

The role emphasizes food safety, equipment maintenance, and adherence to Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Prior restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Maintain food quality and monitor inventory and waste.
• Train Crew members to become Kitchen Leaders.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with back-of-house and front-of-house teams for smooth operations.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and report malfunctions.
• Follow MSDS and FIFO policies and support a safe work environment.
