Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader in Dubuque, IA. You will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will ensure food quality, safety, and a clean, well-stocked kitchen, while promoting teamwork and delivering a great customer experience. This role emphasizes standards, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies and procedures and lead kitchen operations.
• Cook and prep food to order, ensuring quality.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support strong team dynamics between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew and customers for great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is clean, sanitized, and well stocked.
• Maintain equipment and repair issues promptly.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO inventory.
