Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. in Ames, IA is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders. You are responsible for maintaining quality, safety, and a clean, well-stocked kitchen, and for promoting teamwork to deliver a great customer experience.

You will help Crew members grow into leaders, ensure accurate procedures, and contribute to fast, friendly service in a busy restaurant environment.

• Must have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Following Chipotle policies and procedures while performing core duties.
• Cook and prep food to order ensuring quality, taste and safety.
• Monitor waste and inventory; resolve food quality issues.
• Support strong teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
