Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Des Moines is looking for a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will order the food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders, while ensuring the kitchen is clean, stocked, and equipment is well maintained.

The role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and promoting a great guest experience; you will guide Crew members and help meet station goals on a fast-paced line.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Hold a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
