Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring that food is delicious and prepared to high standards. You’ll order supplies and train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders, promoting teamwork and a great guest experience in a busy environment.

Key duties include cooking to order, keeping the kitchen clean and stocked, monitoring inventory, and ensuring equipment is well maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Following Chipotle’s policies to ensure food quality and safety.
• Cook and prep food to order and follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization and sanitation.
• Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment and safety guidelines.
• Fill out MSDS and manage FIFO inventory.
