Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is hiring a Kitchen Leader to learn and execute food preparation, grill and sauté techniques, while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will uphold food safety, keep the kitchen clean and well-stocked, and promote teamwork to deliver a great customer experience.

You will lead by example on quality, efficiency, and safety, ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and supports both back-of-house and front-of-house teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Proficiency in the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables; ensure food is delicious.
• Order food and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization and stocking; ensure equipment is in good condition.
• Promote teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Mentor Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Ensure great customer service and throughput through effective communication.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and safe; monitor for injuries and accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO inventories.
