Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in the United States is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train crew, ensure food quality, and maintain a safe, organized kitchen. You will lead by example, coach Crew, and help deliver on our Food With Integrity standards.

You will manage food prep, inventory, and equipment, foster teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house staff, and help create a great guest experience. This role offers advancement opportunities and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain cleanliness.
• Willingness to train others and develop Crew into leaders.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitoring food waste and inventory levels, and resolving food quality issues.
• Supporting a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Developing Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicating with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensuring the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitoring kitchen equipment and ensuring it is kept in good repair; arranging repairs as needed.
• Ensuring safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Filling out MSDS and FIFO inventory procedures.
