Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and oversee food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, ensuring delicious, safe food. You’ll order supplies and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, while promoting teamwork and delivering a great customer experience.

In this role you’ll keep the kitchen clean, organized, well stocked, and compliant with safety standards, guiding Crew to meet goals and support their growth within Chipotle’s mission to make better food

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to train others and promote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Following Chipotle policies and procedures while preparing food to order.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
