Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Michigan is seeking a Kitchen Leader to master food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, ensuring delicious standards. You’ll order food, train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders, and uphold safety, cleanliness, and stocked conditions.

You will help maintain teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house crews, supervise kitchen operations, and promote a great guest experience while meeting station goals.

Qualifications

• Must understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is clean, organized, and properly maintained.
