Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and master food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables.

You will ensure every dish is delicious, manage orders, and train Crew members to grow into future Kitchen Leaders, while promoting teamwork and outstanding guest experiences. As a Kitchen Leader, you will keep the kitchen clean, organized, stocked, and well maintained, while modeling collaboration and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and keep it in good repair.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
