Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will order food, train others to become future Kitchen Leaders, and ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

You’ll model teamwork and deliver a great customer experience while keeping equipment and stock in check. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, quality control, and ongoing development of Crew members as the restaurant grows and improves.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to lead and train Crew members.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; address quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and in good repair; ensure equipment is functioning.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO inventory tasks.
