Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train others, manage food preparation, and oversee back-of-house operations to ensure delicious, safe, and on‑brand meals. You will supervise prep, inventory, and equipment maintenance while modeling teamwork and a strong guest experience.

You will also mentor crew members toward becoming future Kitchen Leaders, uphold Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy, and help maintain a clean, well‑stocked kitchen focused on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back‑of‑house and front‑of‑house crews.
• Develop crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and customers to ensure great service.
