Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to teach and supervise food preparation, uphold quality and safety, and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will help maintain a clean, well-stocked kitchen, uphold Chipotle’s standards, and model teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on cooking, inventory control, and staff development, with a strong focus on customer experience and operational excellence across the kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support teamwork between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and arrange repairs when needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO inventory rotations.
