Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to help prepare high-quality, delicious food and to train teammates for leadership roles. You will oversee cooking, prep, and kitchen operations, ensuring safety and cleanliness while driving excellent customer service.

You will mentor Crew members, uphold Chipotle’s standards (Food With Integrity), manage inventory, and coordinate with teams to maintain throughput and a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to speak and understand the work location language.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order while following kitchen procedures.
• Ensure food quality by accurate cooking and prep.
• Monitor inventory and waste; resolve quality issues.
• Support a cohesive team between back-of-house and front-of-house.
• Develop Crew members into future Kitchen Leaders.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked kitchen; report equipment issues.
• Promote safety to prevent injuries; ensure MSDS and FIFO practices are followed.
