Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and oversee food preparation, grilling, and sautéing while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will manage stock, quality controls, and safety standards, promoting teamwork and an excellent customer experience. You will work on a fast-paced line, ensuring food is delicious, properly prepared, and served with a focus on Food With Integrity.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies and procedures while preparing high-quality food to order.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and address quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well maintained; ensure equipment is in good repair.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO duties as required.
