Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring everything is absolutely delicious. You’ll order food and train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders, promoting teamwork and delivering a standout customer experience.

You’ll keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and safe, maintain equipment, and serve as a role model for Crew members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew and customers to ensure service.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned, sanitized, and equipment is maintained.
