Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while upholding quality and safety standards. You will train Crew members and help them become future Kitchen Leaders, while ensuring the kitchen is clean, stocked, and well maintained.

You will promote teamwork and deliver a great customer experience by managing food quality, inventory, and equipment with a hands-on, on-your-feet approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality and inventory levels; resolve issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and proper equipment maintenance.
• Fill out MSDS and manage inventory rotation.
