Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure food quality, proper stock, cleanliness, and safe operation of equipment to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing training, and promoting a high standard of food safety and efficiency on the line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great food by grilling meats and sautéing vegetables, and ensure orders are cooked to order.
• Order food and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and stock; ensure equipment is well maintained.
• Promote teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew to deliver a great customer experience.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders and ensure safety practices are followed.
• Assist with MSDS filing, FIFO inventory, and cleanliness standards.
