Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train and guide Crew, ensure delicious food, and maintain a clean, well-stocked kitchen. You’ll cook to order, supervise prep, and model teamwork while delivering a great customer experience.

You will manage food quality and safety, monitor inventory, and mentor Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders, while upholding Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy and standards in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience is required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized and equipment is maintained.
