Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill seeks a Kitchen Leader to learn food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will drive food quality and customer experience across a fast-paced kitchen.

You will ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper equipment maintenance, while promoting teamwork and efficiency. The role offers competitive base pay with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• Restaurant experience

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders
• Communicate with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput
• Keep the kitchen clean and sanitized
• Monitor equipment and ensure repairs are made quickly
• Ensure kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO inventories
