Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will ensure food is delicious, order supplies, and mentor Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and customer experience. You will keep the kitchen clean, manage inventory, train others, and contribute to a fast, friendly dining environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order, following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, resolve quality issues.
• Support strong team dynamics between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep kitchen clean and sanitized at all times.
• Monitor equipment and repairs to keep it in good condition.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO inventory procedures.
