Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill seeks a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables to ensure delicious, safe food. You will train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders and manage kitchen workflow to support a great customer experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, food safety, and leading by example in a fast-paced environment; prior restaurant experience is preferred and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked.
• Maintain and repair equipment; ensure safety guidelines.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO documentation.
