Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train and supervise kitchen operations, ensuring delicious, high-quality food and a clean, organized workspace. You will lead and develop Crew members, manage food prep, and uphold safety standards to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

As a Kitchen Leader, you’ll train others, monitor inventory, and maintain equipment, while promoting teamwork and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food by cooking and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair; repair promptly.
• Ensure the kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
