Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a Kitchen Leader in Orlando to guide kitchen staff toward daily goals and guest satisfaction. You will ensure smooth operation, maintain safety standards, and support the Kitchen Manager in cost control and quality execution.

This role emphasizes strong communication, hands-on leadership, and a commitment to guest satisfaction through consistent, high-quality food preparation and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Basic skills such as sanitation, safety, and customer service taught through in-house training.
• Must be able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Works cooperatively with Kitchen Manager to ensure budget expenses are within limits and identifies ways to improve operations.
• Keeps General Manager/Kitchen Manager informed of problems and proposes solutions.
• Maintains a clean and safe facility.
• Monitors food temperatures during hot and cold handling to reduce risk factors.
• Ensures clear written and verbal communication with staff and vendors.
• Performs kitchen walk-throughs and temperature checks.
• Assists in ordering food, produce, liquor and supplies.
• Assists in receiving deliveries and directs staff for stocking items.
• Performs and can assist in all functions for kitchen operations.
