Perkins American Food Co. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to guide kitchen staff, ensure daily goals are met, and maximize guest satisfaction through high-quality food and a positive work environment.

You will collaborate with the Kitchen and General Managers to manage expenses, maintain safety standards, and uphold operational efficiency. The role requires strong communication, attention to sanitation, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Basic sanitation, safety and customer service basics taught in-house.
• Must be able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Works cooperatively with Kitchen Manager to ensure budget expenses are within limits and identifies ways to improve operations.
• Keeps General Manager/Kitchen Manager informed of problems and proposes solutions.
• Maintains a clean and safe facility.
• Monitors food temperatures to reduce risk factors for food borne illness.
• Communicates clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
• Coordinates with vendors for equipment and supplies.
• Performs kitchen walk-throughs and temperature checks.
• Assists in ordering food, produce, liquor and restaurant supplies.
• Assists in receiving deliveries and guiding staff for stocking items.
• Performs all functions for kitchen operations.
