Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train others, manage food prep, and ensure a fast, high-quality customer experience. You will lead by example, promote teamwork, and keep the kitchen clean and well stocked.

The role emphasizes food safety, equipment maintenance, and coaching Crew members toward future Kitchen Leaders, with a strong focus on delivering delicious food and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, resolving quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized; maintain equipment and facilities.
