Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will train others to become future Kitchen Leaders while maintaining quality, safety, and a clean, well-stocked kitchen.

You’ll work with a collaborative team to deliver a great customer experience, manage inventory, and ensure adherence to food safety standards. The role offers tuition assistance and competitive compensation with digital tips.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience is required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, and resolve quality issues.
• Develop crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Support strong teamwork between back- of- house and front- of- house Crews.
• Communicate with crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned, sanitized and well stocked.
