Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will order food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders, while ensuring quality, safety, and organized, well-stocked kitchens.

As a role model for Crew, you’ll promote teamwork, deliver a great customer experience, and stay on your feet to meet station goals and assist teammates throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory and food quality; help reduce waste.
• Support a strong Crew dynamic between back and front of house.
• Develop Crew members into future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
