Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train in food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables. You will ensure delicious, safe food while overseeing inventory, stocking, and training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You’ll promote teamwork, maintain a clean kitchen, and help deliver outstanding customer experiences while meeting station goals and supporting your teammates.

Qualifications

• Understanding and articulation of Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Restaurant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support strong team dynamics between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintain equipment and arrange repairs as needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and manage FIFO inventory rotation.
