Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader to learn and manage food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables. You will ensure delicious food, order supplies, and train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.

The Kitchen Leader promotes teamwork, maintains cleanliness, safety, and high standards for service. You’ll lead by example, drive throughput, and support the dining experience for guests in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience is required or preferred.
• Understanding Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy is desirable.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality, waste, and inventory levels.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well organized.
• Maintain equipment and arrange repairs as needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO inventory paperwork as required.
