Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure delicious, safe food, maintain a clean and stocked kitchen, and model teamwork for Crew members.

You’ll lead by example, ensure quality and safety, and help the team meet station goals while delivering great customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor waste and inventory; address food quality issues.
• Support strong team dynamics between back-of-house and front-of-house.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well organized.
• Inspect equipment; arrange repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO-related tasks as required.
