Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and master food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while ensuring high quality and delicious output. You will order food and mentor Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, promoting teamwork and an exceptional customer experience.

You will help maintain a clean, well-stocked kitchen, follow safety guidelines, and support frontline and back-of-house teams to meet station goals and throughput.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma and restaurant experience.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality and inventory levels; resolve issues.
• Lead and train Crew to develop future Kitchen Leaders.
• Ensure kitchen is clean, organized, stocked and equipment maintained.
• Maintain safety and sanitation; prevent injuries or accidents.
