Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in California is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise how to prepare tasty, safe food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You’ll order supplies, train Crew to grow into future Kitchen Leaders, and ensure high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order and follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; address quality issues.
• Support strong Crew teamwork and develop future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation are maintained.
• Maintain equipment and take quick action on malfunctions.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO paperwork.
