Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training Crew to become Kitchen Leaders. You’ll maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and inventory control, and promote teamwork to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma
• Restaurant experience required
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s philosophy
• Speak/write/understand the primary language of the work location

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures
• Monitor inventory and food quality; manage waste
• Support a strong back-of-house and front-of-house team dynamic
• Develop Crew into future Kitchen Leaders
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers for great service
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness, organization, and equipment maintenance
• Ensure safety guidelines and MSDS compliance
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO inventory records
