Job summary

Eataly is seeking a Kitchen Specialist to oversee the receipt, storage and organization of all food items for the Back of House team. You will report to the Head Chef and work with the BOH team to ensure quality and safety.

Responsibilities include receiving all items, checking against orders, maintaining inventory and logs, FIFO storage, and assisting in stocking and item releases. The role requires basic math and at least one year of kitchen experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of kitchen experience.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Receives all food items, supplies and materials.
• Checks incoming merchandise against orders for accuracy.
• Maintains inventory and delivery records for BOH per Chef.
• Notes discrepancies in the daily log and informs supervisor.
• Stores items at proper temperatures and follows FIFO.
• Issues stored items to staff and records releases.
• Assists in stocking or transporting items within the store.
• Performs other duties as required.
