Job summary

Marmic Fire and Safety is seeking a Kitchen Systems/Fire Extinguisher Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair kitchen fire suppression systems and extinguishers on-site for commercial and residential kitchens.

You will work with NFPA codes and UL 300 standards, diagnose issues, document inspections, and provide excellent customer service. Training and advancement opportunities are available within a growing national team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.
• Ability to perform physical labor, lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install kitchen fire suppression systems and extinguishers per specs and codes.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair kitchen fire suppression systems and extinguishers.
• Diagnose on-site issues and perform emergency troubleshooting.
• Prepare inspection reports with customer signatures and keep records updated.
• Communicate professionally with clients to schedule service and provide updates.
• Follow NFPA, UL, and local fire codes and safety guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with standards and tech.
