Job summary

Sodexo in Boston is seeking a dedicated Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation across food production and service areas.

You will clean equipment, floors, walls, and storage spaces, restock supplies, and assist with setup/breakdown. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long shifts is required; the role is full-time in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwasher.
• Cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment with chemicals to meet sanitary standards.
• Restocks supplies like soap and towels.
• Assist with setup and break-down tasks as directed.
