Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a part-time Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in food production and service areas. Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, surfaces, floors, and storage spaces, transporting supplies, and assisting with setup and breakdown as directed.

Candidates should be prepared for varied shifts, with open availability preferred, and must meet basic sanitation standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.
• Remove trash to designated areas.
• Clean equipment using specific chemicals for sanitary standards.
• Restock supplies such as soap, towels, and cleaning materials.
• Significant walking or mobility required.
• Stand for extended periods; shifts may exceed 8 hours.
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attend shifts on time; fulfill other duties as needed.
