Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Utility Worker at the Boston Commissary to support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout food production and service areas.

The role includes cleaning equipment, floors, walls and storage spaces, restocking supplies, and assisting with basic setup and break-down tasks; shifts are weekday mornings, full-time with a $20–$22 hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• No prior work experience required.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety basics.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or use a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, remove trash, and maintain floors clean.
• Restock supplies and assist with basic setup/breakdown tasks.
• Walk, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
