Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations, focusing on cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in food production and service areas.

You will wash dishes, sanitize work areas, and help with basic set-up and break-down tasks. The role requires physical stamina, attention to sanitation, and reliable attendance. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment using chemicals to meet sanitary standards.
• Restocks supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
