Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization in food production and service areas. Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, floors, and surfaces, stocking supplies, and assisting with setup and breakdown tasks as directed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, open availability, and involves varying shifts; benefits and training are provided. Includes physical tasks and moving items as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.
• No related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize work tables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment using chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.
• Restocks supplies like soap, towels, and cleaning materials.
• Significant walking or other mobility.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods (may exceed 8 hours).
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
